Kelly MacFarland

As a seasoned stand-up comedian, Kelly has an extensive and well-rounded resume including comedy clubs, theaters, festivals, colleges and several television appearances. Kelly is currently touring across the country and takes great pride in working with the USO Tour to entertain our US troops overseas. She has headlined the 2009 Boston Women in Comedy Festival, was first runner up in the 2009 Boston Comedy Festival and voted Best of the Fest 2010 Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival. Kelly Just released her first CD, Bombshell this 2011. Huge Hit!  Watch for her clever collection of short stories based on being a “stand up” and her life.
She has performed with some of the best in comedy: Bob Marley, Brian Kiley, Caroline Rhea, Gary Gulman, Tony V, Steven Wright, Butch Bradley, Joan Rivers, Mario Cantone, Christopher Titus, Sherry Davey, Lenny Clarke, Mitch Hedberg, Damon Wayons, Bernadette Pauley, Al Ducharme, Kerri Louise and Tom Cotter!
Kelly is also an experienced wellness/inspirational speaker, coaching individuals about self acceptance. She has been a speaker at the American Heart Association’s GO RED events for the past 8 years. Sharing her life experiences in the unique way that only she can, Kelly leaves audiences pleasantly surprised by her candor.  She captivates the crowd with her charm and her refreshing yet playful point of view makes her irresistible.

Leisha Tedford Doherty, MSW, Counselor & Heart Health Advocate
Go Red For Women is deeply personal to Leisha as this single mom of three is a survivor of two heart attacks and two open heart surgeries.  Leisha exercised, looked healthy, and took care of herself. She never thought she’d be fighting for her life at 40. Since then, at 43, she still struggles with her heart health.  Leisha is passionate about spreading the word and having an impact on women and their cardiovascular health.
