Why Go Red?
The women in our life are why!
Join us as we UNITE to prevent heart disease and stroke in women! Our mothers, daughters, sisters and friends are at risk. Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women, causing 1 in 3 deaths among women each year – more than all cancers combined. Fortunately, we can change that, because 80 percent of cardiac events can be prevented with education and through lifestyle changes. Go Red For Women inspires women to make healthier choices, mobilize our community, and shape policies to save lives. United, we are working to improve the health of all women in Greater Syracuse. Go Red.
Speak Red. Save lives.
A year of community-wide activities and programming culminates with the 2018 Go Red For Women Luncheon!
On Thursday, October 25 we will join together to raise awareness and funds in support of education and research programs targeting heart disease and stroke in women.
Join us! Syracuse continues its tradition of excellence as the premier Go Red For Women event in the region. With more than 600 in attendance from the social, medical, and corporate communities in the area, the Go Red For Women Luncheon is expected to raise nearly $400,000 for research and education aimed at fighting heart disease and stroke in women all while celebrating the power and health of women!
Building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
Our mission drives everything we do.
